What is the principle behind this deck, and why play it?

• Use Materialized Sword on the Blades in the deck to inflict heavy damage.
• Learn how to play with Equipment.-Learn how to cycle cards in your hand to keep responses to threats.

Why the Cat?

• This deck requires mana at the start of the game, when the Cat is of no use.
• It allows for a final burst on the Air Blade, or to escape from a situation thanks to a Breath of the Healer.
• At the end of the game, it effectively recycles useless cards from your hand, which Equipment generally has in abundance, in order to recover powerful cards.

It’s a conscious decision to vary and give another perspective. The Fox, the Crow or the Scarab, even the Eagle, are just as valid: it’s a matter of personal preference. What cards could be suggested? The Equipment theme is extremely flexible and depends greatly on personal preference.

• Defense: Antimatter, Cosmic Contempt, Dazzle, Dead Tree, and Stunning Thunder are all viable options.
• Damage: Fire Whip and Piercing Winter are also interesting weapons. Crumbling Rock is worth considering. Any other damage spells specific to Animals, depending on which one is chosen. Warrior-Mage Ritual provides more damage but a different dynamic in terms of hand management and endgame.
• Draw: Acceleration, Flash of Inspiration, Radiant Light.
• Utility: Animal Recall if choosing Cosmic Contempt, Stellar Fractal if choosing another Animal. Finally, and obviously, Reforge.
