Plan de jeu
What is the principle behind the deck, and why play it?
- Kill your opponent using various Lightning spells and Raijin’s Roar when Superconducting Ritual is on the board.
- Learn how to prepare and then use your discard pile.
- Learn the keyword Quick and how to manage mana accordingly.
- Discover how to add Quick to spells that don’t have it innately.
Why the Eagle?
- It can help apply Electric Spark, which allows you to cycle your hand while preparing the discard pile for later.
- It has special interactions with the defensive cards present. Some “basic” cards become terrifying in Quick mode.
- On the other hand, it consumes a lot of mana. Therefore, be sure to manage it well.
What cards could be suggested?
- Defense: Dead Tree and Vine Trap would allow you to use
while slowing down and protecting. Including Spark Breath and allowing Sublimation would also be feasible. - Damage: Fiery Will, adding Zeus’ Thunder, which itself requires Call of Lightning. This would be another list, but just as interesting. If Spark Breath were to be included, then Tesla Coil could find a place in this deck. Finally, Robe of the Howler is a must-have for Air.
- Draw: Brilliant Inspiration.
- Utility: Aerial Dive to seal the game with Eagle could also be included, but it’s more situational.
