Plan de jeu
Hey Mages
I wanted to conclude this tournament with a weird deckbuilt deck, something that would challenge the way I usually build around. I’m more of a 4-3 copies guy, and immensely useful but detrimental cards such as Sonar would end as 1, maybe 2 of’s. Here, I switched that.
Sonar can be prepared and having more than 1 on the board is pure net worth. It would absolutely get what I wish for, especially with more than 1, and I decided to have some fun with Crushing Pressure. Sure, it’s not THAT powerful all by himself. But get at least 3, maybe 4 with Sonar, and it all of a sudden becomes a well calibrated machine gun. Then, ensure chaos follows: Dew Drop? How about gaining 1 HP + deal 3-4 damage, seems okay for 1 Water mana. Great Waters? Deal 3-4 before even being activated. All Water spells would suddenly become absurd and as such, it’s just a fun deck.
It can also quickly get on its feet by tutoring 3 to 4 Great Waters all at once. You didn’t see that coming, did you? ;D
Morale of the story: use 4 Sonars, blow things up.
Have fun, Mages.
